Meet the WW2 German General’s Stielers Hand Atlas & hear the story

This short film made in 2003 shows my father, Jack Field giving his account of how a group of young men visiting San Vincenzo, Italy in the summer of 1958 were given the Stieler’s Hand Atlas by the Italian family that they were staying with.
At the time this short film was made it was believed that the Atlas belonged to Field Marshal Albert Kesselring but his signature does not match the inscription inside the atlas. I now have the task of identifying the dated (1942) signature inside the Atlas in order to identify the owner. Please help me to add as much detail & information as you can to these pages so that we can piece together this ‘small piece of history’ & find this Atlas a suitable home in a museum.
